Tapware Installation Sydney: Taps, Mixers & Shower Sets

New kitchen mixer, basin taps, a shower set or a bath spout? We install tapware you've chosen, or supply it, including Methven, Phoenix, Grohe, Mizu, Posh and Franke.

No surprise bills: $0 call-out and a fixed price before any work starts.

Our guarantee: 12 months on our workmanship, in writing. What it covers

Most tapware swaps are straightforward: the old tap comes off, the new one goes on with new connectors, and we check for leaks. Some aren't, and it's worth knowing which before you buy. A benchtop mixer needs the right hole in the bench or basin. Swapping two separate taps for a single mixer changes the holes and the connections. And in-wall shower and bath mixers have a body inside the wall made for their own brand's trims, so a new trim from a different brand usually means changing the body, which means opening the wall. We install kitchen mixers, basin mixers and taps, shower sets, rails and mixers, bath spouts and laundry taps, using tapware you've bought or supplied through Reece. You get a fixed price before we start, and 12 months on our workmanship.

Kitchen and basin mixers sit in a hole in the bench, sink or basin. Check the new mixer suits the hole size and the bench thickness.

Replacing separate hot and cold taps with a mixer means a different number of holes. On a sink or basin with two holes, there are ways to cover the spare; in a wall, it may mean changing what's inside.

The body inside the wall is made for its own brand's trims. Changing to a different brand usually means changing the body, which needs the wall opened, so it's best done in a renovation.

Wall taps and bath spouts need the outlets in the wall to be in the right place and at the right depth for the new tapware.

Tapware sold in Australia carries a WELS water rating. More stars means less water used.

Mixers from established brands are easier to get cartridges and parts for when they eventually wear.

Pull-out mixers, filter taps and boiling water taps need room under the sink for hoses and units.

Send us a photo of the existing tap and the one you want. It's easier to check before it's bought.

Methven, Phoenix, Grohe, Mizu and Posh tapware, and Franke sinks and taps.

Common Questions

Yes. We install tapware you've bought, or supply it through Reece.

Usually, yes, on a sink or basin. In a wall, it depends on what's inside the wall. We'll check before you buy.

If it's the same brand and range, often. A different brand usually needs a new body in the wall, which means opening it up.

Methven, Phoenix, Grohe, Mizu, Posh and Franke, among others, and tapware you've chosen yourself.

When we install a new mixer, it comes with new connectors. Old flexible hoses under the sink are worth replacing at the same time.

We give you a fixed price before we start, with a $0 call-out fee. For kitchens, see our Kitchen Mixer Upgrade offer.
