Sewer Repair Plumber Sydney: Broken & Blocked Sewer Lines

Sewer keeps blocking, backing up or smelling? We find the fault with a CCTV camera, then repair it: relining where it suits, or digging up and replacing the broken section.

No surprise bills: $0 call-out and a fixed price before any work starts.

Our guarantee: 12 months on our workmanship, in writing. What it covers

Every sewer repair starts with finding the fault. We run a CCTV camera through the line to see exactly what is wrong and where: roots through the joints, a cracked or broken pipe, a section that has dropped, or debris that shouldn't be there. Then we repair it the right way for that pipe. Where it suits, we reline the pipe from the inside without digging. Where the pipe is too far gone, we dig up and replace the broken section, using an excavator when the job needs one. We also install new junctions in the sewer line. You get a fixed price before we start, and our workmanship is covered for 12 months.

If the sewer keeps blocking after it has been cleared, there is usually a fault in the pipe: roots getting in through the joints, a crack, or a section that has dropped.

When the toilet, shower or floor waste backs up, or the overflow gully outside overflows, the sewer is blocked somewhere downstream.

Several fixtures draining slowly or gurgling at once, or a sewer smell in the yard, often point to a problem in the main line.

The camera footage decides it. We show you what we found and explain the options.

A resin liner is cured inside the old pipe, making a new pipe inside it without digging up the yard. It suits cracked and root-affected pipes that still hold their shape. Relined pipes last 25+ years.

Where a pipe is broken, collapsed or has dropped, we dig it up and replace the broken section. On bigger jobs we use an excavator.

When a new fixture or extension needs to connect to the sewer, or an old junction has failed, we install a new junction in the line.

A blocked sewer in old clay pipes. The CCTV camera showed roots growing through dislodged joints and small hairline cracks, and we cleared the roots with the high-pressure jet blaster.

The toilet and shower were backing up. The camera found broken bricks and debris left in the sewer by a previous builder during a renovation, and we removed it.

The bathroom was moving, so it needed new drainage. We saw-cut the concrete slab, installed the new drainage to the new bathroom location and backfilled the trenches.

How It Works

01

A CCTV camera shows what the fault is and exactly where it is.

02

If the sewer is blocked, we clear it first, with the jet blaster for roots and build-up.

03

Relining or dig-and-replace, depending on the pipe. Fixed price agreed before we start.

04

We repair the line and check it is flowing properly before we finish.

Common Questions

We run a CCTV camera through the line. It shows what the fault is, such as roots, a crack, a broken or dropped section, or debris, and exactly where it is.

Often, yes. Pipe relining repairs cracked and root-affected pipes from the inside, without digging up the yard. It suits pipes that still hold their shape. If a section has collapsed or broken, it needs to be dug up and replaced.

Yes. We dig up and replace broken sewer sections, and use an excavator when the job needs one.

Yes. We install new junctions in the sewer line, for example when a new fixture or extension needs to connect.

Usually there's a fault in the pipe: tree roots getting in through the joints or cracks, a section that has dropped, or debris that shouldn't be there. Clearing it helps for now, but the camera shows what needs repairing so it stops happening.

It depends on what the camera finds. We give you a fixed price before we start, with a $0 call-out fee.
