A granny flat is a small home, so it needs the same plumbing services as one.
Sewer drainage
Drainage from the kitchen, bathroom and laundry, laid in the ground and connected before the slab goes down.
Stormwater drainage
The granny flat's roof water has to go somewhere. Downpipes are connected into stormwater drainage, kept separate from the sewer.

Water pipework to every tap and fixture, plus the hot water.

Gas pipework where the granny flat has gas appliances.
How the Plumbing Fits Around the Build
Before the slab: drainage
The drainage goes in first, because it sits under and through the slab. In Merrylands we have just finished this stage on a new granny flat: all the sewer drainage is in.
Frame stage: rough-in
With the frame up, the water and gas pipework is run through the walls and floor before they are lined.
After the walls: fit-off
Once the walls, tiling and cabinetry are done, we come back and fit off the fixtures, taps and hot water.
Owners and Builders
Building it yourself
If you are managing the build, we can do all the plumbing, so you have one plumber from the drainage to the fit-off.
Builders
We also work as the plumber for builders, doing each stage as the build reaches it.
