Toilet Installation & Replacement Sydney

New toilet, or an old, cracked or worn-out one to replace? We take the old one out, install the new toilet with a new pan connector and water connection, and check it flushes and seals properly.

No surprise bills: $0 call-out and a fixed price before any work starts.

Our guarantee: 12 months on our workmanship, in writing. What it covers

Most toilet replacements are a straight swap: the old toilet comes out, the new one goes in on the same waste, with a new pan connector and a new connection to the water supply, and we check it flushes properly and doesn't leak at the base or the cistern. The things that make it less straightforward are measurements. The set-out, the distance from the wall to the centre of the waste, decides which toilets fit. Whether the waste goes into the floor or the wall decides the type of pan. And the footprint decides whether the new toilet covers the marks the old one left on the tiles. We check all three before you buy. We install Caroma and Laufen among other brands, or a toilet you've chosen. You get a fixed price before we start, and 12 months on our workmanship.

The distance from the wall behind the toilet to the centre of the waste. Every toilet lists the set-out range it suits.

If the waste goes into the floor, you need a toilet for an S-trap; if it goes into the wall, a P-trap. Many modern toilets can be set up for either.

Old toilets often leave grout lines, marks or untiled patches around the base. A new toilet with a similar or bigger footprint covers them.

The water connection on the wall needs to suit where the new cistern takes its supply.

The cistern sits on the back of the pan. The most common type, and the simplest swap.

The pan sits flush against the wall, hiding the connector. Neater to clean around, but the set-out needs to match closely.

The cistern is inside the wall on a frame. It needs the wall opened to install, so it's usually part of a renovation.

Water off at the isolation valve, the old toilet disconnected and lifted out.

A new pan connector to the waste and a new connection to the water supply, with an isolation valve if there isn't a working one.

The pan fixed and sealed, the cistern filled, the flush checked and adjusted, and the base and connections checked for leaks.

How It Works

01

Set-out, waste position and footprint, so the new toilet fits.

02

Water off, old toilet disconnected and lifted out.

03

New toilet fitted with a new pan connector and water connection.

04

Flushed, checked for leaks at the base and cistern, and adjusted.

Common Questions

Yes. Check the set-out and waste type first, or send us the model and we'll check it against your bathroom.

The distance from the wall behind the toilet to the centre of the waste pipe. It decides which toilets fit without moving the waste.

Usually not. The cistern frame goes inside the wall, so the wall has to be opened and re-tiled. It's best done as part of a bathroom renovation.

If its footprint is similar or bigger, usually. We can help you check before you buy.

We remove the old toilet so the new one can go in. Ask us when you book if you need it taken away.

We give you a fixed price before we start, with a $0 call-out fee.
