Bidet & Bidet Toilet Seat Installation Sydney

A bidet seat on your existing toilet, or a separate bidet in the bathroom? We connect the water, fit an isolation valve, and make sure it seals and works. Electric seats need a power point, which is a job for an electrician.

No surprise bills: $0 call-out and a fixed price before any work starts.

Our guarantee: 12 months on our workmanship, in writing. What it covers

Most people adding a bidet in an existing bathroom choose a bidet seat: it replaces the toilet seat and takes water from the toilet's cold supply through a tee at the wall, so there's no new pipe in the wall. Non-electric seats use cold water and a mechanical control. Electric seats can warm the water and the seat, and need a power point near the toilet. That's work for a licensed electrician, so if there isn't one, it has to go in first. A separate bidet is a fixture of its own, with its own water and waste, and is usually part of a bathroom renovation. We fit bidet seats, connect the water with an isolation valve, check the seat suits your toilet pan, and install separate bidets. Fixed price before we start, 12 months on our workmanship.

Replaces the toilet seat and uses cold water from the toilet supply, with a lever or dial to control it. No power needed.

Adds warm water, a heated seat and other features. It needs a power point within reach of the toilet, installed by a licensed electrician.

A bowl of its own beside the toilet, with its own water supply and waste pipe. It needs floor space and new pipes, so it's usually planned in a renovation.

Some toilets come with bidet functions built into the pan and seat. They're installed as a new toilet.

Bidet seats are made for round or elongated pans, and for a range of lengths and mounting hole spacings. Measure your toilet, or send us the model.

Some seats need room behind them for hoses and the control unit. On a pan that sits tight against the wall, check the clearances.

The seat takes its supply from a tee at the toilet's stop tap. If that stop tap is old or seized, it's worth replacing at the same time.

Plumbing products connected to the water supply in Australia should carry WaterMark certification. Check before buying online.

How It Works

01

Pan shape and size, the water connection, and power for electric seats.

02

Old seat off, bidet seat mounted on the pan.

03

A tee and isolation valve at the toilet's cold supply.

04

Water on, seat run, cistern and connections checked for leaks.

Common Questions

Usually, yes, if the seat suits the shape and size of your pan. We connect it to the toilet's cold water supply with a tee and an isolation valve.

Yes. It needs a power point near the toilet, which a licensed electrician has to install if you don't have one. We do the water connection.

Connecting to the water supply is plumbing work. We fit the seat and make the connection, and check it for leaks.

Yes. A separate bidet needs its own water supply and waste, so it's usually done during a bathroom renovation, at rough-in and fit-off.

Most standard pans take one, but the shape, length and mounting holes vary. Measure the pan, or send us the toilet model and the seat you're looking at.

We give you a fixed price before we start, with a $0 call-out fee.
